Day 1:
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha at 8 a.m., followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its towering baobab trees, rolling hills, and unique terrain, the park is home to Tanzania’s largest population of elephants, along with lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and diverse antelopes.
Enjoy a picnic lunch amid the park’s stunning scenery before continuing your afternoon game drive. Stop at an observation point overlooking the Tarangire River, a prime spot for photographing elephants interacting in their natural environment. As the sun sets, your guide will transfer you to a lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, with plenty of time to review your shots and prepare for the next day.

Day 2:
Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti, the world-famous “endless plains.” Along the way, pause at the Ngorongoro Crater rim for awe-inspiring views a perfect photography opportunity. Upon entering the Serengeti, you’ll be struck by the seemingly infinite grasslands stretching to the horizon.
Here, wildlife photography comes alive. The park hosts over 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and abundant antelopes such as Thomson’s gazelles and impalas. Predators abound, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, offering prime moments to capture dramatic wildlife action. Take a break for lunch before resuming your afternoon game drive, photographing everything from foxes and jackals to baboons and over 500 bird species. End the day with dinner and overnight at a Serengeti lodge.

Descend into the crater floor in the afternoon to witness the extraordinary concentration of wildlife.
