Day 1:

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a Visual Africa Travel representative will greet you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha.

Spend the afternoon preparing your camera gear and meeting your guide, who will brief you on the upcoming safari. Nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha’s pleasant climate and lush scenery offer a gentle introduction to Tanzania before venturing into the wilderness.

Day 2:

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its majestic baobab trees and large elephant herds. Spend the day photographing lions, leopards, buffalo, zebras, and giraffes across the park’s diverse landscapes.

Birdlife is abundant, with colorful lovebirds, rufous-tailed weavers, and ashy starlings adding vibrant touches to your shots. Late afternoon, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:

Tarangire to Ndutu Area

After breakfast, travel to the Ndutu area, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Known for its short-grass plains, Ndutu becomes the calving ground for thousands of wildebeest from December to April. Predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are highly active here, making it one of the best places to photograph wildlife in natural action. Day 4:

Ndutu to Central Serengeti

Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
