Kitulo National Park, perched on the southern highlands of Tanzania, spans 412 km² of rolling grasslands and misty mountain slopes. Known locally as “Bustani ya Mungu” the Garden of God it is the first park in tropical Africa established primarily to protect its unique flora.
During the rainy season, the park bursts into a dazzling display of color, with carpets of orchids, lilies, daisies, and more than 350 species of flowers blooming across the plateau.
